Scottish filmmaker and mother of three, Amy Hardie always had a vivid dream life.  And an accurate one, too -- her dreams frequently prove true.  So when, on the brink of her 48th birthday, Amy dreams she will die before she turns 49, it turns her world upside down and forces her to re-assess everything about her previously charmed life.  Combining spectacular footage with interviews and animation, My Year of Living Dangerously follows Amy through a riveting, life-affirming struggle for survival, taking the viewer into areas as diverse as neuro-science; dream symbolism; shamanism, the biosphere, and then back again, to the daily strains and pleasures of ordinary family life.
